Farewell from the "old" President

Well Farewell is a big word...I just think it is time for 'new' and 'younger' blood in the organization, I've been doing the presidence with great pleasure for about 8 years. There was a difficult startup phase, but ones the society machine was up and running, it was just a matter of streamlining and little corrections with the help of the whole board.
Now after all these years perhaps my vision is somewhat blurred, my way of thinking a bit rusted. So a new way of leading the BSST is necessary with fresh ideas and jounger viewpoints. I'm confident that the new board will realize this with glance for the coming years.

Don't worry about me, I'm right behind the corner and if necessary, I can always show up as long my health permits me. Anyway I'm still there, out of the bright sunlight perhaps, but in the shade, just as your webmaster.
